Baby Belly Cake

February 9, 2013

This cake was made with 10″ and 6″ rounds, the 6″ rounds I ended up cutting down a little but its still a very buxom cake 🙂 I know some people make their zebra striped fondant before they place it on the cake but I like to add my stripes after so they are just where I think they should be. I also used Homemade MM fondant (go HERE for the recipe) because I did not need this fondant to dry stiffly and it tastes much better. To make the ribbon I used this fondant roller cutter to make the little dots along each edge. Wilton Cutter Embosser
(I use this roller cutter for EVERYTHING.)
