I made some Donut Hole Chicks and they were so fun that I knew the next step was cake pops. I think these are silly and so fun! Nice thing is that the decorating is super fast and easy.
I always tell people to DOUBLE DIP their cake pops to get the nice round look (as well as no cracks) but for these chicks, dip your pops once and if its nicely set, it doesn’t matter how perfectly round it is because you’re covering it up!
To make these simple chicks take your dry cake pop and using a Wilton #233 tip (same one to make grass etc) pipe short little bursts of frosting- squeeze then pull off fast! I used store bought eyeballs (found these at Michaels) and glued those on before I started piping. For the beak and feet- orange starbursts! Have some Styrofoam ready because you don’t want to lay these down flat.
