To get the long stripes I taped some wax paper on my table because I needed a long smooth service. I rolled my fondant flat, cut stripes and then sprayed them with Duffs Edible Gold Spray. (Let them sit for a couple minutes to dry before applying to the cake.)
I put the silver pearls on by putting them in my palm and then gently pressing them into the sides of the cake. I used tweezers to fill in the holes where needed.
For the ruffles I cut out circles, ruffled them around the edges and folded them into little flowers then set them upside down on a cookie sheet to dry before pressing them onto the side of the cake.
