This is the cutest picture ever! I am so in love with these babies. To make these cupcakes I used the Wilton Giant Cupcake pan
but the dark coating of the pan tends to cook cakes too dark, I was using vanilla cake and even though it wasn’t burnt it looked overcooked and brown. I cooled the cakes and then lined the pan with a strip of fondant to create my own cupcake wrapper which I wrapped around the cake. I used a rounded tool to gently mold the ends together. For the tops I used the Rose technique found HERE. PROS are that is does give you a great shape for a giant cupcake wrapper, I have tried making it free hand and it is much harder. CONS: the swirl top of the cake is cute, but frosting it smoothly takes some skill or it just looks kind of sloppy. The base is hard to cook evenly, the outside started getting too crisp so I ended up scooping some uncooked batter out of the center which left a hollow in the base. (I just filled it with mixed cake and frosting so it still worked, I just wish it cooked more evenly!)
