To make this Spider Cake I used an 8″ round pan and then a basic metal mixing bowl that I had. It wasn’t a perfect fit but it worked fine because I took some extra cake and crumbled it to fill in between the two layers and round up the top.
The legs are the best part! I used Pokey Sticks (found in the Asian section of any grocery store) and cut them the length I wanted and glued them together with melted chocolate chips. I put them in the fridge until they were set and them put them on the cake. I made sure the cake board was REALLY sturdy so it wouldnt bend and break the legs when it was carried.
