The most time consuming part of these are the eyes and eyebrows, the rest is pretty simple. Cut out yellow circles of fondant and let them dry out. For this I used Marshmallow fondant (go HERE for my favorite recipe) that I rolled in gum paste powder to help it to harden up. I used a slightly larger circle cutter to cut out the colored fondant and used a fondant roller to make the lines of the ninja masks. Ice Cream Cake
My husband LOVES ice cream cake but it was alwasy a pain to make it and I didnt like how it looked all square and in a casserole pan. So I used my cake pans, the same size I used for the cake, lined them with saran wrap and then put in a mixture of 2 parts ice cream to 1 part cool whip. Brown Sugar Icing
This stuff is SOOOOO good. The first time I made brown sugar icing i just wanted to sit and dip different things in it all day, fruit, graham crackers.....a spoon! It is a version of 7 minute frosting that just has such a rich, almost maple flavor. Bring the sugar, water and corn syrup to boil, stirring at medium high until it becomes thick and drops in strings instead of droplets. Set it aside. Make unique fondant cutters
Sometimes I just cannot find shape or size that I need to cut my fondant decorations. This easy technique comes in handy. To make the crowns I bought some pipe ribbon at home depot, its a roll of bendable metal about an inch wide. (This works great for any odd shape, like the pentagon on a soccer ball!)
