A shopping day cake- this was a fun theme! The birthday party was at the mall where the girls went around to different stores getting specific items. Super cute!
The nail polish bottles were marshmallows with 2 layers of Fondant to get the shape and then used a toothpick to hold the top on. For the Justice bag I made the base out of Rice Crispy and let it sit over night to firm up. I covered it with one layer of fondant to smooth it out, then applied a second layer for the outside of the “bag.” To make the “tissue paper” I rolled my fondant in gum paste powder so that it would dry quickly and more stiffly.
I didnt have room for more bags so I just put logos on the side. 🙂
