This is so delicious! And easy. It is ALWAYS a hit- and one of my most requested. I know there are recipes out there where you can make this from scratch, but....why? This requires no boiling, just a microwave and your favorite buttercream. Here's what I do: Unwrap 12-14 caramels, add a tsp of water and microwave for 30 seconds. Stir and microwave another 15 seconds. Add a dollop of buttercream (1/4-1/2 cup) and 1/2 tsp of salt. The buttercream will melt into the caramel which is fine, ... VIEW POST
Crinkle Cookies
My husband is the biggest cookie snob so when I made these last minute treats for my Church Choir I thought for sure he would notice they were from a box, but nope! He ate a stack of them and loved them. I have made some cake mix cookies before that were more "cake like" but these turned out soft, chewy and delicious! Perfect Christmas treat. 1 box chocolate cake mix (I used Duncan Hines dark choc fudge) 1/2 cup oil 2 eggs 1 tsp peppermint extract Mix together, it will be a little ... VIEW POST

Pumpkin Cupcakes

Once I finished adding the frosting I coated the whole thing with orange sprinkles. For the stem I just clipped green "pull and peel" twizzlers. These are a huge hit for any fall themed party! ... Sweet Pork (!!!)
I have been searching for a recipe like this ever since I tried the sweet pork at Costa Vida (and Cafe Rio.) I have tried so many recipes but none were exactly what I was hoping for. THIS WAS!!!! My friend Lana told me about it at a soccer game and I went straight to the store to buy the ingredients. The text I sent her the night I made it was something along the lines of "I'M DYING IT'S SO GOOD!" As each kid walked in the door they said "What smells so good?" Heaven. Ok to the recipe..... ... I Love You Wedding Cake
I love how the simple design made this cake so elegant! I used floral wire for the lettering (I coulnt find any food safe wire, you can wrap the ends to be safe,) I just wound it around a circle fondant cutter to get the loops and an angled cutter to get the more square angles. I shaped it on cake pans the same size of the actual cake so I could get the rounding of the letters. The tricky part was getting it to set just right and not dig into the cake OR fall off. Here are two basic ... VIEW POST
