French Macaroons

I have been wanting to make these ever since I paid $2.00 for one little macaroon at a bakery. It was HEAVEN! I had to go buy 4 more. I wasn't very motivated to make them because every where I read on line it said they were SO HARD. Cornflakes, Butterscotch & Peanut Butter

This is heaven. I dont make this very often because I cant stop eating it if its around. Melt the PB and chips together then pour over the cornflakes in a large bowl- mix well but gently to avoid crushing the cereal too much. Spread it on a wax paper covered cookie sheet and let cool. I like to melt white chocolate chips and drizzle over the top but thats optional. You can cut it into bars or crumble it and eat it like popcorn. Super Hero Party

I used to go all out on birthday parties but it has been a few years since I have had the time or inclination. But Ben was turning 7 and really wanted a super hero party so I put together these games with a trip to the dollar store and an old tarp. I am not sure it is really "Pin Worthy but it was a huge hit! Who is Who

Established in 1998 we are the Walburgers. Jonathan and I met at BYU while waiting tables at Carvers Steak house. I grew up in Oregon and Jonathan is from Southern Cal. Fast forward 16 years and we've got all these kids. I wonder often why I happened to be the luckiest mom in the world and get the best kids, but I am starting to think I am not the only mom that feels that way. The photo below is from March 2014. Cake Pop Consistency

In this photo I gently pressed with my finger to show you how a pop looks when it is too wet, perfect, and too dry. The center one cracked a little but did not fall apart- perfect. When it comes to dipping there is nothing worse than a pop that just falls off the stick or leaks all over the place because its too moist. To get the perfect consistency I crumble my cake until I cant feel any bumps. Then start adding a spoon of frosting at a time until it starts becoming "rollable." when it rolls ... VIEW POST
